Bavaria All Inclusive Tour Itinerary

Days 1-2: London to Langenau

Your journey begins in London today, where you meet your group in Rail Discoveries' dedicated Departure Office at London St Pancras International. From here, travel on the Eurostar service to Brussels, then continue by rail to Ulm, via Cologne, for the short transfer by coach to Langenau. Here you will spend six nights at the 3* Hotel Jägerhaus and all meals are provided from now until your departure from Langenau. Beer, wine and soft drinks are included between 7pm and 11pm.

Day 3: Lindau by rail

Visit Lindau today, on a small island in Lake Constance. This historical, pretty town dates back to the 15th century, and boasts breathtaking views over the water towards the Swiss and Austrian Alps. You are free to explore the medieval town.

Day 4: Neuschwanstein Castle

The spectacular Neuschwanstein Castle is today's destination. Built by 'The Fairytale King' Ludwig II, in the 19th century, the castle served no purpose as a fortification in the traditional sense, but was instead an elaborate retreat for the reclusive monarch.

Day 5: At Leisure

Today is at leisure to relax or explore the region further. Perhaps take advantage of the hotel's facilities or enjoy a stroll into Langenau. Alternatively visit the city of Munich, which is reachable by local rail services.

Day 6: Rothenburg

Today's excursion is to one of Germany's best preserved medieval towns, the historic location of Rothenburg. Situated along the route of the famous 'Romantic Road', you enjoy a guided tour of the town's inspiring Old Town.

Day 7: To London

After breakfast, you take a coach to Ulm before continuing to Cologne and Brussels. Here you connect with the Eurostar service back to St Pancras International in London, where your tour concludes.
