In the Soysambu Conservancy, where you will have an afternoon wildlife drive, 450 bird species are resident, including 28% of the world’s population of lesser flamingos. Over 50 species of mammal also exist here, such as the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe and cheeky colobus monkey. Stay overnight at Serena Lake Elmenteita Tented Camp.

Day 6: Masai Mara

Continue south-west to the Masai Mara, one of Earth’s true wildlife wonderlands, boasting incredible numbers of classic safari creatures throughout the year. You will arrive at the Mara Serena Lodge, your home for the next 2 nights, in time for lunch, before heading out for an afternoon drive through the reserve.
