The Northern Lights are a spectacular wonder, filling the night sky with colourful beams and ribbons of light and have captivated people for centuries. On your holiday to Lapland, you can enjoy a number of ways to see them.
Inghams offers both Northern Lights Holidays and excursions, allowing you to craft your perfect getaway to the Arctic Circle.
7-night adventure holidays bring you to the winter wonderland of Saariselkä, and the Muotka Wilderness Lodge. From here, you’ll have the chance to enjoy several activities during your week long stay, including husky, reindeer and snowmobile safaris as well as excursions to find the Northern Lights. This holiday is also available with alternative accommodation for the first four nights.
Inghams also offers overnight stays in unique accommodations, designed for viewing the clear night sky, and watching out the tell-tale blue and green light of the Aurora Borealis

Flights
All holidays to Lapland include return flights to Finland, departing from London Gatwick, Manchester and Bristol.
Transfers
You can enjoy transfers by coach from Kittilä airport to your accommodation. Overnight stays in both the Aurora Cabins and the Glass Igloos include transfer from and to your main accommodation.
Accommodation
There are a selection of accommodation provided by Inghams that are perfect for seeing the Northern Lights. These include hotels, aurora cabins and glass igloos.

If you want to spend some time in the resort of Saariselkä, you can stay at either the Hotel Gielas or Holiday Club Hotel for the first 4 nights of your adventure holiday. Both of these accommodations feature half board meals.
Overnight Excursions
Spend a night in purpose-built accommodations, perfect for viewing the Northern Lights.
The Aurora Cabins, found in Levi and Saariselkä feature a semi-glass roof for watching the stars and Northern Lights.
The Glass Igloos in Levi are amazing accommodations, with a thermal dome roof with expansive views of the night sky. There is a choice of igloos available, ranging in size from 23m² to 53m².
Both overnight stays feature returns transfers from your accommodation and breakfast. Both the Aurora Cabins and the Glass Igloos can be booked on a half-board basis.
