Over 60 years ago, Club Med established the first ever all-inclusive ski resort in Switzerland. Now there are multiple club med ski resorts scattered across the Alps, and all around the world. In 2023, they remain the only company that offers an all-inclusive ski package which includes everything from your accommodation and dining to ski lessons / lift passes and kids’ clubs. Further, Club Med ski holidays offer all-inclusive ski packages to an array of resorts located in the finest ski domains in the world.

In France, Tignes and Les Arcs Panorama are just two of Club Med’s premium family resorts to choose from and Arcs Extreme is exclusive to adults. Pragelato Sestriere in the Italian Alps gives you access to one of the largest skiing areas in Europe, while Switzerland offers alpine skiing at Saint Moritz Roi Soleil.

What's Included in Club Med Ski Holidays?

Ski
 accommodation and transport
Rooms are designed for families, with options including suites and interconnecting rooms. Chalet apartments are available with either 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms in Valmorel and either 2 or 3 bedrooms in Grand Massif Samoëns Morillon.
If you choose to book your flights as part of the package, your transfers between the resort and airport are included.

Dining
Club Med ski all-inclusive includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and apres-ski snacks. Many of the resorts have speciality restaurants that serve traditional, local food as well as bars serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, included in your Club Med ski all-inclusive package

Lift Pass
Your Club Med ski package includes a 6-day lift pass which is valid from the day of arrival. Your ski pass will be ready for collection as you arrive at the resort, so you can head straight on to the slopes.

Club Med Ski Lessons
Ski lessons are included in the Club Med ski package for anyone of any skill level or age. Lessons are available for people of all skill levels from beginners to advanced skiers. English-speaking instructors from the National Ski Schools will arrange groups of 12 people with the same ability and organise a day of training. There are also snowboarding lessons for those over the age of 8.

There is also a multi-sports programme designed for teens with a skill level of 3. This programme is designed to allow them to experience different ski disciplines such are ski jumping, slalom and skiing through forests.

Club Med Ski Lesson Times
Club Med ski and snowboard school run from Monday to Friday, starting at 9am, pausing for lunch before continuing in the afternoon.

Locker Rooms & Club Med Ski Equipment rental
All of the Club Med ski resorts available have locker rooms to store your skiing equipment. If you know the specifics of what you need, you can inform the staff ahead of your arrival and have it waiting for you. Renting from the resort is ideal for those looking to snowboard or ski without having the stress of gathering and transporting the equipment outside the resort. You can rent equipment from the resort at an extra cost. Ski shops tend to have the latest equipment which is regularly maintained and changes every couple of months.

Childcare from 0 - 17 Years
Club Med ski resorts offer the same kids clubs as Club Med’s sun resorts. These offer a range of activities and arrangements that make family holidays fun for everyone. On top of the activities, Club Med also offers skiing and snowboarding lessons for children led by experienced ski instructors.

Non-Ski Activities
Club Med also has a range of non-ski activities. Snow mountain biking, bobsleighing, dogsledding, and ice skating are just some of the exciting winter sports that are on offer in several of the resorts. Some of these activities may incur an extra cost.

The resorts also have more relaxing options for spending your day including access to indoor pools and spas.

Evening Entertainment
In the evenings, the resorts have live entertainment.

Club Med Short & Weekend Stays
Club Med ski all-inclusive packages mean that you can use your time effectively, and the length of your stay does not matter. Your ski pass is available at time of arrival and valid as soon as you arrive. This means you can head onto the slopes and into lessons as soon as possible. Lesson times are Monday-Friday, morning and afternoon meaning that those staying for weekends are unable to join lessons.

Meals are available from lunchtime on the day of arrival until lunchtime on the day of departure and you can enrol kids onto the various clubs. There are no Kids’ clubs available on Sundays.

Out of the 14 resorts on offer in France, 11 of them are ideal for families, offering a range of kids’ clubs and activities. The other three are ideal for groups or couples. Club Med Skiing Italy

The Italian Alps are home to adventurous ski holidays, perfect for families and active ski groups. When you’re not heading on to the slopes, you can explore Italy’s beautiful alpine towns and villages and tuck into delicious mountain delicacies.

Club Med operates one ski resort in Italy – Club Med Pragelato-Vialattea. Located in Piedmont, this family-focused resort is set out like a village. Pragelato is quiet and secluded compared to other crowded resorts, making it perfect for a relaxing family trip. Though a popular destination due its secluded nature, it has ski-in, ski-out access to the Via Lattea, the second largest ski area in Europe.

Pragelato-Vialattea has a range of slope types, with 30 green, 54 blue, 118 red and 42 black runs.

Club Med Skiing Worldwide

Another of Club Med ski locations is Switzerland, location of Club Med Saint Moritz Roi Soleil. This all-inclusive ski resort is in the Engadine Valley, home to 350km of slopes. This resort, unlike the rest of Club Med ski resorts, is not ski in ski out, with the nearest ski lift being 300km by walking. It also lacks green runs.

Outside of Europe, there are Club Med skiing resorts in Canada (Club Med Quebec is their first North American ski resort), China, and Japan.

There are also Club Med kids’ clubs and professional childcare with full board for every meal. Parents can enjoy peace of mind knowing that their children are in safe hands and having a fun holiday.
