The seasonally erected Ecocamp consists of dome-shaped tents which have wooden floors, proper beds and warm bedding and have great insulation to absorb the sometimes fierce winds. A number of tents are now en-suite. Meals are served in the large communal dome.

Ecocamp operates a number of packages from 3 or more nights which includes trekking the W circuit. Staying at Ecocamp is ideal for those who are in reasonably good shape and want an active holiday with comfortable facilities to retire to at the end of the day.

This eco-camp had taken inspiration from a local indigenous tribe and their “leave no trace” lifestyles and houses. They craft state-of-the-art geodesic domes that run on solar and hydraulic energy, are fully eco-friendly, and creates a fully immersive experience with one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. It was the first hotel of its kind in the world.
