Hurtigruten Midnight Sun Exploration to Thule Itinerary

Day 1: Copenhagen/ Kangerlussuaq

You will take a flight from Copenhagen to  Kangerlussuaq

Day 2: Sisimiut

Explore Sisimiut or join excursions such as kayaking, hiking or other activities.

Day 3: Qeqertarsuaq

Qeqertarsuaq is perfect for kayaking, exploring mountains, hot springs, and discovering columnar basalt rocks.

Day 4: Uummannaq/ Ukkusissat

Join an optional excursion to visit settlements which include meeting the locals or taking a tender boat excursion to a landing at Qilakitsoq.

Day 5: At sea

Sail northwest along the Davis Straits towards the Lauge Koch coast.

Day 6: Dundas

Visit Dundas. 

Day 7: Siorapaluk

You will cruise past Robertson fjord, make sure to take pictures of glaciers. 

Day 8-9: At sea

You will sail through the waterway called Kane Basin.

Day 10: Qaanaaq (or Thule)

Visit the Ultima Thule souvenir shop to buy genuine and original artwork and crafts from the Qaanaaq district.

Day 11: At sea

Spot wildlife or attend a lecture given by our Expedition Team.

Day 12: Upernavik

Get your camera ready as you sail past the Upernavik archipelago.

Day 13: Eqip Sermia

Visit the Eqip Sermia Glacier.

Day 14: Ilulissat

Visit the Jakobshavn Glacier and witness the midnight sun.

Day 15: Itilleq

Visit the Arctic Circle Village, Itilleq.

Day 16: Kangerlussuaq

Join a final excursion to the Greenland Ice Sheet. Then take your plan journey back to Copenhagen. 

Day 17: Copenhagen

Arrive in Copenhagen.
