There are a number of cross-country tracks running through the forest and around the nearby lake, and there is a fantastic selection of activities on offer. For those interested in alpine skiing the local ski bus stops regularly at the cabins and it’s a short ride to Ruka’s slopes. Within the cabin area, there is a restaurant and sauna centre as well as a snow igloo, which all make fantastic additions to your holiday.
