An atmospheric and very friendly hotel situated in the traditional unspoiled Lappish village of Äkäslompolo. The property enjoys a scenic, peaceful wooded location with miles of cross-country ski trails starting from the door. The village centre is approximately 500m walk away and the ski bus (free to hotel guests) stops outside the hotel. Its popular bar, dance floor, restaurant and night club form the hub of local entertainment and a perfect choice for all.

Akas Hotel operates on a half board basis

Breakfast consists of a hot and cold buffet (served between 07:30am and 10am)

Dinner is a 3 course buffet (served between 5pm and 8pm)

Guests receive a 30% reduction towards the à la carte menu (guests to inform reception by 18.00h the day before, à la carte restaurant is not guaranteed to be open all season)

Festive Feast included for all guests during December, for a Christmas celebration, games and a certificate for every child!

On New Year's Eve, there is a gala dinner with live music and dancing.
