The Resort is built on the edge of a cliff at 1600m, overlooking the valley with a 360° view of surrounding mountains. Situated in the heart of the Grand Massif domain, the Resort is only 1 hour and 15 mins from Geneva making it easy for families who prefer to avoid longer transfer times. This ski-in / Ski-out Resort offers direct access to the slopes from the ski equipment room. Guests will benefit from a lift pass which covers two domains - Massif and Flaine (5 stations: Samöens, Morillon, Les Carroz and Flaine + a natural ski park in Sixt Fer a Cheval.) Massif slopes are ideal for beginners while Flaine slopes are better suited for intermediate and experts skiers. This all-inclusive 4-Trident Club Med Resort is outside the main Village at 700m, a shuttle service is available. Guests can take the shuttle when the Grand Massif Express gondola is not in operation, every 30 minutes in the evening until at least 11pm from the hotel at 1600m. During the day, guests can use the Grand Massif Express gondola and a shuttle will run from the bottom of the gondola to the main village and back again. Samoëns is known as one of the most beautiful towns in France. You can also visit the snowsure resort Flaine by a new lift, the Grand Massif Express, this then links up to Samoëns 1600. Samoens is only one hour by car from Geneva and the village has a traffic free centre with a scenic town centre. For an off-piste excursion, you can venture into this traditional town and splurge on local delicacies such as mountain ham, local cheese and butter pastries.

Ski & Snowboard Rental Prices at Club Med Ski resorts
At every Club Med Ski resort, you can find an in-resort ski rental store where you can rent equipment for your holiday, saving you the worry of having to pay extra for your equipment on the plane. In the store, you can rent new equipment for the duration of your stay or you can have your equipment serviced. When you book your holiday with Travel Club Elite you can ask to rent your ski equipment in advance so as soon as you arrive at the resort, you have what you need to hit the slopes!
