Day 2: St Julian’s – Vittoriosa – Senglea – Sliema – St Julian’s

Shifting our focus back in time, today we’ll look towards the iconic cities of Vittoriosa and Senglea. With time to visit the Senglea Gardens and a stop at the quaint fishing village of Marsaxlokk, today will be full of visual rewards. After an eventful morning, we’ll take time to relax on a harbour cruise around the natural ports – a treasure trove for photographers.

Day 3: St Julian’s – Mosta – Rabat – Mdina – St Julian’s

Today we’ll begin with a visit to the stunning Mosta Church and a short photo stop at the Dingli Cliffs before we move on to the Buskett Gardens. Next, we have a guided tour through Malta’s old capital, Mdina, also known as the silent city. On the menu for this afternoon: an indulgent wine tasting accompanied by local cheese and biscuits at the Meridiana Wine Estate. Tonight, we’ll gather for dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4: St Julian’s – Qrendi – Cirkewwa – Xaghra

Today the road will carry us to the Hagar Qim temples, with a short walk to Hamrija Tower. We’ll then drive through the village of Birzebbuga towards the Blue Grotto, where an included short boat trip awaits. Afterwards, we’ll travel to the ferry point at Cirkewwa via a photo stop at Popeye’s Village, then take a short speedboat transfer to Gozo for a chance to explore the unique caves.

Day 5: Xaghra – Gharb – Victoria – Xaghra

Today we’ll visit the Megalithic Temples of Ggantija, followed by the Old Citadel in Victoria. Next, there’s a local treat in store this afternoon as we visit the Ta’ Rikardu Farm for a hands-on cheesemaking experience. Later, we’ll make our way back to our hotel via a photo stop at Sannat.

Day 6: Xaghra – San Lawrence – Marsalforn – Xaghra

As we near the end of our journey, we still have a handful of sights to be explored – and today will not disappoint. First, we’ll take a stroll to Fungus Rock and continue on to the Saltpans of Xwejni Bay. We’ll then try out local ftira at the famous Mekren Bakery while looking over Ramla Bay. Later today, we’ll proceed to the ‘Dreams of Horses Farm’, where we’ll have the opportunity to interact with the beautiful animals.

Day 7: Xaghra â€“ St Julian’s

After one last breakfast together, we’ll catch a ferry to Malta and transfer back to our hotel, where the tour ends.
