The Isle of Man is a semi-autonomous island off the coast of England, flanked by the Lake District in England and Northern Ireland. The Isle of Man offers stunning coastal paths, battlements, rugged sunset landscapes, hidden lighthouses and verdant valleys. The islands were designated as a biosphere reserve in 2016 by Unesco World Heritage site. It is hailed as one of the most beautiful spots in Britain for nature. The Isle of Man’s diverse culture and heritage offers  a unique history that differs from both English and Irish; the isle offers one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval castles and the world’s largest working waterwheel. The Isle has craggy cliffs, sandy beaches, hidden coves and stunning glens to be explored.

Birdwatching is a big drive for tourism as the Isle of Man has an abundance of unique wildlife to discover. From rugged cliffs, you can watch hen harriers, ravens and warblers in their natural habitats.  You can watch seal sunning themselves on rock islands, take a boat trip to watch dolphins, whales, porpoise and basking sharks. On land, you can try to spot the elusive Manx wildcat, the Manx sheep, mountain hares and even wallabies. The Isle of Man is also a motorsport haven, as it hosts the TT races, where over 45,000 motor-sports fans will flock to each year for the races.
