Day 3 Liverpool
The seaport city of Liverpool has an impressive waterfront dominated by the 'Three Graces': the Royal Liver Building, the Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building. A panoramic tour taking in Liverpool's iconic attractions is a great way to see the highlights, or you may prefer to seek out the city's cathedrals instead.
Day 4 Dublin, Ireland
Set on Ireland's east coast, Dublin is the country's principal port and famous for its gregarious personality. Enjoy Dublin’s lively atmosphere, perhaps with a Guinness in one of the capital’s spirited pubs. During your visit you may want to discover the renowned Temple Bar district, enjoy a peaceful cruise along the River Liffey or join a visit to Skerries Mills where grain has been ground into flour since the 12th century.
Day 5 Cobh (for Cork), Ireland
Dominated by the Gothic Revival St Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh (pronounced Cove) is a gateway to the southwest of Ireland. Perhaps journey into the city of Cork, admiring idyllic scenery en route. Widely considered by residents to be the true capital of Ireland, Cork is a city of jazz, film, opera and theatre, yet it retains the warmth of traditional rural town.
Day 6 Portland, England
Today you'll arrive at the ‘Isle of Portland’, which is connected to Dorset's mainland by Chesil Beach. It’s an ideal base from which to discover the attractions of the UNESCO-listed Jurassic Coast and beyond, from prehistoric sites and medieval towns, to delightful country houses and beautiful gardens. Perhaps unearth the secrets of Old Sarum, an Iron Age hill fort, and its newer counterpart, Salisbury, as well as ponder the enduring mysteries surrounding Stonehenge.
Day 7 Dover
