Day 1: Fly to Ireland

Fly to Cork, where you will meet your Tour Manager and enjoy the scenic transfer to Tralee. After checking in at your hotel, and depending on the time of your flight, the rest of the day is yours to unpack and to explore the town.

Day 2: Included Dingle Peninsula Tour

Today’s tour of the rugged Dingle Peninsula will reveal its outstanding mountain and coastal scenery, inspiration for such films as ‘Ryan’s Daughter’ and ‘Far and Away’.

Day 3: Included Killarney National Park Tour

Life slows right down this morning as we head to Killarney National Park. Here you ‘ll enjoy an hour-long ride in a horse-drawn jaunting car (Ireland’s most traditional mode of transport, and the only kind allowed in this area), during which your driver will spin tales of local legends and Irish history.

Day 4: Included Rock of Cashel Visit

The spectacular medieval buildings of the Rock of Cashel  (entry fee payable locally) rise majestically from the lush pastures of the Tipperary countryside. Together they make up one of Ireland’s most important religious and archaeological sites. The sturdy walls around the complex protect a Romansque chapel that houses some of Ireland’s oldest frescoes, a 12th-century round tower, a 13th-century Gothic cathedral and a 15th-century castle. A short audio-visual show sets the scene before an included guided tour reveals the secrets of this fascinating place.

Day 5: Included Ring of Kerry Coach Tour

Today’s final tour traces the spectacular Ring of Kerry around the Iveragh Peninsula. Visit the towns that dot the route, and witness its wonderful natural beauty. Highlights include the magnificent Coomakista Pass, and the views of the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks and the glaciated Black Valley from Molls Gap.

Day 6: Fly back to the UK

Bid farewell to Tralee as we return to the airport to check in for your flight home.
