Starfish Crèche (4 – 23 months)
Activities include arts and crafts, playing in the pool and beach play. (1 nanny to every 2 babies)
4 days a week from 9.30am – 12.30pm & 2.30pm – 5.30pm, two days a week from 2.30pm – 11 pm.
£300 per week.

Sea Urchins (2 – 3 years old)
Activities include kayak and catamaran trips, tennis and face-painting. (1 nanny to every 4 children)
4 days a week from 9.30am – 5.30pm, two days a week from 2.30pm – 11 pm.

Sea Badgers (4 – 5 years old)
Activities include kayaking, dinghy sailing, beach play and tennis. (1 nanny to every 4 children)

Surfbusters (6 – 7 years old)
Activities include volleyball, tennis and watersports including sailing and kayaking. (1 nanny to every 8 children.)

Sharksters (8 – 9 years old)
Activities include rounders, volleyball, pool games and watersports.

Stingrays (10 – 11 years old)
An abundance of activities including watersports, pool & beach games and movie nights.
4 days a week from 9.30am – 5.30pm, two days from 2.30pm – 11pm.

Surf Squad (12 – 13 years old)
Plenty of group activities to try whether they’re in the pool, the sea or on the beach. There’s meal nights and movie nights too.

Wave Riders (14 – 15 years old)
Lots of activities including volleyball, tennis, and kayaking. They are also encouraged to join in with adult Watersport sessions.

TAG (16 – 17 years old)
TAG is designed to get teenagers to enjoy full days of activity and make new friends.

Week One – Vounaki Beachclub

The rooms have a traditional Greek feel to them and are bright and airy. Many of the rooms have sea views, whilst others look out over the back of the beachclub towards the Acarnanian Mountains.

There is a wide choice of accommodation to suit most needs with double and twin rooms (some also have sofa beds), plus interconnecting and mezzanine rooms for larger groups and families.

Each room has air conditioning, mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, TV, safe, beach towels and hairdryer. There’s free Wi-Fi in the public areas and in most of the rooms.

Week Two – Your Yacht

Neilson have a range of yachts available. They have two or three cabins and the saloon berth can also be utilised to squeeze more people on board.

All the yachts have been built and specifically modified for Mediterranean sailing, with headsail roller reefing, electric anchor windlasses, holding tanks and bathing ladders.

Intro to Yachting

If you’ve never sailed before and you’re on a stay and sail holiday, you’ll need to join one of the beginners sailing courses available at Vounaki

Over the course of four days you’ll develop the skills you need to skipper your own yacht up, down and around the islands and coastline of the Ionian.

The dedicated trainers will train you on a yacht with a maximum of four other guests. In reality you’ll be gaining some practical knowledge of sailing, essential mooring skills (that’s parking up to you and me), how to drop anchor, the all important safety skills and loads more top tips from our savvy trainers.

You’ll come away with your Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Level 2 Basic Skills certificate.

Flotilla Refresher

This 2-day course is designed for those who already hold a sailing qualification or are experienced dinghy sailors. The course is flexible which means instructors will focus on whichever skills you feel need polishing up.
