Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – To Athens

Morning flight from London Heathrow to Athens with Aegean Airlines. Transfer to the Titania Hotel or similar for 2 nights.

Day 2 – Athens

Morning tour of Athens, including Constitution Square, Hadrian's Arch, the Presidential Palace and the Panathenaic stadium, where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held. Continue to the Acropolis to view the Parthenon and visit the Acropolis museum. Afternoon at leisure or optional tour to Cape Sounion to view the Temple of Poseidon. Meals Included: Breakfast. 

Day 3 – To Olympia

Morning drive to the ancient theatre at Epidaurus, via a stop at the Corinth Canal. Continue to Mycenå, the seat of King Agamemnon who led the Greek armies against Troy. Considered one of the best archÅological sites in Greece, explore the ruined city, including visits to Lion's Gate, the city walls and the royal tombs. Afternoon drive to Olympia, via Nauplion, to view the Palamidi Fortress. Stay 1 night at Best Western Hotel Europa. Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner.

Day 4 – To Arachova

Morning tour of Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Visit the temples dedicated to Zeus and Hera, the first Olympic stadium and the archÅological museum. Continue to Arachova and stay 1 night at the Amalia Hotel. Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner.

Day 5 – To Kalambaka

Day 6 – To Athens

Morning tour of Meteora and the six striking monasteries built on rock formations. Dating from the 14th century, they are a fine example of Byzantine construction. Visit two monasteries: the Big Meteoro and its museum, and Agios Stephanos. Afternoon drive to Athens, via ThermopylÅ, where the 300 Spartans fought against the Persian empire of King Xerxes. Stay 1 night at the Titania Hotel or similar. Meals Included: Breakfast. 

Day 7 – To London

Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to the airport and fly to London. Meals Included: Breakfast. 


Electra Hotel, Athens

The 4-star Electra Hotel is located in the heart of Athens at the start of the main shopping boulevard, the Ermou, and just off Syntagma Square. It is also within walking distance of the Acropolis and other historical sites. The hotel features 106 elegantly furnished rooms and three junior suites. All rooms have a marble bathroom, air conditioning, flatscreen television, wireless internet access, safe and minibar. The restaurant serves an American buffet breakfast and offers a Mediterranean a la carte menu for lunch and dinner.

Hotel Amalia, Delphi

The 4-star hotel Amalia is located within walking distance of the famous attractions of Delphi. The 185 rooms all have air-conditioning, television and en suite bathrooms. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and swimming pool.

Hotel Europa, Olympia

Built on top of the Drouvas Hill in Ancient Olympia, the 4-star Best Western Hotel Europa has a great location for exploring the sights of Olympia. The 80 rooms each have air-conditioning, a minibar, a television and a safe. 

Hotel Nafplia Palace, Nafplio

A member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World group, the 5-star boutique Hotel Nafplia Palace is located high upon the Bronze Age acropolis of Akronafplia and commands impressive views of the Bay of Argolis and Nauplion below. The town is easily accessed from the centre of Athens by the Vouliagmenis Avenue, which travels the length of the journey to the heart of this coastal resort. With pristine sandy beaches, this is a perfect destination for peace and relaxation.
