Day 1: Fly to Athens
Take a morning flight from London (regional connections available) to Athens. Transfer to Negroponte Resort (or similar) where you'll be staying for the duration of the tour. Enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Chalkida
Enjoy a morning guided tour of Chalkida, including its historic old town, Red House and the Town Hall. Spend some free time on the waterfront before returning to the hotel.

Day 3: Sailing the Strait of Evia
Transfer to the port and board a sailing boat to explore the narrow channel that separates Evia from the mainland. You'll have some time to stop in one of the quiet coves for a swim. Snack and drinks are served on board.

Day 4: Day at leisure
Spend a free day enjoying the facilities of the Negroponte Resort or discovering more of the area. You could visit the Archaeological Museum of Eretrie or the Amphiaraion Site. Alternatively, you could arrange a day of hiking through a local guide.

Day 5: Wine tour, tasting and lunch
Evia is one of Greece's protected winegrowing regions, and you'll be able to sample some local wines on a visit to a winery before helping to prepare meze dishes for lunch.

Day 6: Athens
Spend a full day in the Greek Capital. Visit the Parthenon and Museum, the Panathenaic Stadium and the Temple of Athena Nike. Later on, learn how to prepare the perfect Greek coffee at a local coffee shop before have some free time. Return to Evia in the early evening.

Day 7: Fly to London
Transfer back to Athens airport and fly to London.
