Day 1 – Arrival in Mainz
Arrive at Frankfurt Airport and take a coach to the ship. Settle into your cabin before enjoying your first dinner onboard.

Day 2 – Mainz
Spend the morning exploring Mainz on a guided tour. See its cathedral and churches as well as the Gutenberg Museum, home to two 1455 Bibles. You can also seek out traditional taverns to try the region’s local offerings of wine and beer before returning to the ship in the afternoon

Day 3 – Miltenberg & Wertheim
Moor in the medieval village of Miltenberg and explore its sights, admiring the gatehouse and marketplace. Pass under the village’s red brick bridge and continue onto Wertheim, taking in the scenery as you wind down the river.

Upon arrival in Wertheim, discover the charming town full of colourful houses. Enjoy dinner onboard the ship and sail overnight to Würzburg

Day 4 – Würzberg
Enjoy the facilities onboard the ship in the morning before docking. An elegant city, Würzburg is home to the impressive Marienberg Fortress as well as numerous churches and the Baroque palace, the Residenz.

Day 5 – Rothenburg & Ochsenfurt
After breakfast, drive to Rothenberg, a well-preserved town of cobbled streets and timbered houses. From here, travel to Ochsenfurt. Explore the picturesque town with a guide.

Day 6 – Bamberg
Spend another morning at leisure onboard the ship. In the afternoon, arrive in the UNESCO site of Bamberg. Discover its history and architectural wonders as you wander the Old Town. Leaving Bamberg, join the Main-Danube canal for the cruise to Nuremberg

Day 7 – Nuremberg
This Bavarian city is home to cobble streets, an enchanting castle, and historical landmarks. Take a moment to try the city’s famous gingerbread before heading back to the ship.

Day 8 – Return Home
Transfer to Munich Airport for your flight home
