Day 2: Vilnius - Trakai - Anyksciai

Onwards from Vilnius, we’ll make tracks to Trakai for a tasting of kibinai – a local pastry delicacy. Our next stop will be Anykšciai, where we’ll take the time to walk the scenic treetop path before checking into our accommodation.

If a morning coffee fails to awaken your senses, a morning brewery tour will do the trick. We'll travel to Birzai to sample local beers and learn of the traditions here. After lunch, we'll drive to the impressive Rundale Palace, a great example of Baroque and Rococo art, before reaching Riga tonight.

Day 4: Riga

With so much to see in Latvia’s capital, there is no time to waste! So, today we’ll embark on a walking tour through Riga taking in the city’s wooden buildings, art nouveau architecture and medieval Old Town while sampling some local delicacies along the way.

Day 5: Riga - Parnu - Tallinn

En route to Tallinn today, we’ll embark on a walking tour of Pärnu to capture the real essence of this city which is known for its neoclassical spa buildings, 19th-century timber villas and beach. Upon arrival in Tallinn, we’ll feast on a local dinner together.

Day 6: Tallinn

The dreamy churches, zigzag streets and ancient castles of Tallinn will be on the cards today. You’ll get the chance to see it all and learn about Estonia’s capital. Be sure to have those cameras ready when you see Tallinn’s fairytale-like Old Town, the Town Hall and St Nicholas Church. You’ll be able to take it easy this evening with a free night.

Day 7: Tallinn - Narva - Peterhof - St Petersburg

We’ll bid farewell to Tallinn today and set a course for the small town of Narva, where we’ll stop for lunch. Next, it’ll be over the border and into Russia. On our way to St Petersburg, we’ll visit Peterhof Park and Gardens.

Day 8: St Petersburg
