Every summer, Kirker's annual trip to the Three Choirs Festival, which alternates between the cathedral cities of Hereford, Worcester, and Gloucester, is one of Kirker's most popular music vacations, so they're excited to share details about the upcoming trip in July.
This amended itinerary is based on the most recent information received on January 31st, but please keep in mind that it is subject to change based on government guidance at the time, and the organisers may opt to amend the schedule.
- Accommodation with breakfast and dinner each evening
- Tickets for concerts as described
- Return transfers between the hotel and each concert
- All sightseeing, entrance fees and gratuities as described
- The services of the Kirker Tour Leader and local guide
You can choose one of two four night holidays or stay for the whole festival (eight nights). A full sightseeing programme will be included whichever tour you choose to join, including visits to important local sights, as well as some free time to allow for independent exploration. Both dates will include a visit to Sir Edward Elgar’s birthplace at Broadheath and to Little Malvern where he is buried. Despite the great acclaim which Elgar achieved during his own lifetime, and the extensive travelling he did, he spent much of his life in this part of the country, and had a passionate love of the English countryside. It has been written that these bucolic surroundings had an influence, perhaps subtle, on much of his later work.
Please note, prices listed are guide prices only and are based on 2 people sharing and don't include any additional supplements.
