In 2018, the central tower's rooms and bathrooms, as well as those on either side of the freeform pool, were fully refurbished with modern styling and furnishings. The cabins have been replaced as well, with a slightly different style. They don't have a kitchenette or a living room anymore, but they do have two ensuite bedrooms with even more storage and a small entrance hall with plenty of room for flip-flops and bags.

There are a variety of rooms available in three different sections of the beachclub. The central tower has rooms on all nine levels; the views from the upper floors are unrivalled, with some of our luxury sea view rooms situated on the fifth through ninth floors. More rooms are available on either side of the pool, spread over three levels, with the majority of them overlooking the gardens and many with sea views.

Starfish Crèche (4 – 23 months)  
Activities include arts and crafts, playing in the pool and beach play. (1 nanny to every 2 babies) 
4 days a week from 9.30am – 12.30pm & 2.30pm – 5.30pm, two days a week from 2.30pm – 11 pm. 
£300 per week.

Sea Urchins (2 – 3 years old) 
Activities include kayak and catamaran trips, tennis and face-painting. (1 nanny to every 4 children) 
4 days a week from 9.30am – 5.30pm, two days a week from 2.30pm - 11 pm.

Sea Badgers (4 - 5 years old) 
Activities include kayaking, dinghy sailing, beach play and tennis. (1 nanny to every 4 children)

Surfbusters (6 - 7 years old) 
Activities include volleyball, tennis and watersports including sailing and kayaking. (1 nanny to every 8 children.)

Sharksters (8 - 9 years old) 
Activities include rounders, volleyball, pool games and watersports.

An abundance of activities including watersports, pool & beach games and movie nights.

Surf Squad (12 - 13 years old) 
Plenty of group activities to try whether they're in the pool, the sea or on the beach. There's meal nights and movie nights too.

Wave Riders (14 - 15 years old) 
Lots of activities including volleyball, tennis, and kayaking. They are also encouraged to join in with adult Watersport sessions.

TAG (16 - 17 years old) 
TAG is designed to get teenagers to enjoy full days of activity and make new friends.

Club board at Alana Beachclub is brought to you by a team of local chefs (daily breakfast, daily lunch and four evening meals each week). Tables are set on an alfresco terrace amongst fragrant pine trees and close to the water's edge. On non-inclusive evenings you can grab a snack from the beach bar, enjoy a bbq or take a 10-15 minute stroll into town, where there's a good selection of restaurants. 

The hotel owner has his own vineyard and the wines are served in the restaurant. Choose from robust reds and crisp whites; they’re utterly delicious. At the end of the day, drink your sundowner with an awesome view from our rooftop cocktail bar.
