Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Havana

Start your journey with a flight to Havana with Virgin Atlantic for a 2-night stay at the Hotel Sevilla. 

Day 2: Havana

Start your tour in the heart of Cuba's colourful capital city. Enjoy a walking tour of a Caribbean city rich in culture from the lively residents to the colonial Spanish architecture. Visit the Plaza de Armas, one of the oldest squares in Havana. Meals Included: Breakfast.

Day 3: To Viñales

Visit the Viñales valley, a beautiful national park surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful limestone formations. See traditional agricultural practices in action with its many tobacco plantations. Stay at the Hotel Los Jazmines (or similar) for 2 nights. Meals Included: Breakfast & 

Day 4 Viñales

Spend the day at leisure exploring this traditional settlement which occupies one of Cuba's most beautiful stretches of countryside. Enjoy the stunning views or maybe hop on board a boat ready to descend into the labyrinthine of cave systems snaking beneath this striking landscape or enjoy an optional visit the cigar factory. Meals Included: Breakfast.

Day 5 To Santa Clara

Next up on the tour, Cuba's most popular revolutionary city, Santa Clara. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city's famous landmarks including the main square and its neoclassical architecture. Meals Included: Breakfast.

Day 6: Trinidad via Cienfuegos

Start the day with a morning visit to the Che Guevara's Museum, the famous revolutionary who won the final battle of the Cuban revolution in Santa Clara. Next drive to the picturesque, French-colonial town of Cienfuegos. Nicknamed “The Pear of the South”, this charming town sits right of the waterfront overlooking the beautiful bay. Continue on to one of the oldest cities in Cuba, Trinidad for a 2-night stay in a casa for a taste of Cuban culture. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 7: Trinidad

A city to delight history enthusiasts, Trinidad is one of the best-preserved cities in the Caribbean. Spend the morning with a walking tour of the colonial centre with its beautiful churches and museums and pay a visit to La Canchanchara for live, authentic Cuban music and their famous house cocktail. Meals Included: Breakfast.

Day 8 To Camagüey via Valley of the Sugar Mills

Visit the Valley of the Sugar Mills en-route to Camagüey. Stretching over 7 miles, these plantations were once the centre for the nation's sugar production. Take in the rural beauty of the rolling Cuban countryside before driving on to Camagüey (5-6 hours). Explore the city's hidden plazas and ornate churches tucked away within its long winding streets. Meals Included: Breakfast.

Day 9: To Santiago de Cuba via Bayamo & El Cobre

Travel east on a full-day journey to Santiago de Cuba. Stop off at El Cobre church, one of the country's most famous churches nested among the rolling hills in the foothills of Sierra MÅstra. Stay 2 nights at the Meliá Santiago Hotel. 

Day 10: Santiago de Cuba

Spend the day exploring the former capital of Cuba. A city rich in history with its well preserved French colonial architecture, impressive fortress and military barracks. In the afternoon, visit the Gran Piedra and the wild, untamed mountains of Sierra Maestra, marvelling at the breath-taking scenery stretching along the southern coast of the island. In the evening, you may choose to take an optional visit to La Casa de la Trova, a haven for musicians. Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch 

Day 11: Fly to Havana

Fly back to Havana for an overnight stay at Hotel Sevilla. Later that evening watch a music performance by Legendarios del Guajirito. Meals Included: Breakfast

Day 12: Fly to London

Spend the morning at leisure taking in your last sights of Havana with an optional ride in style in a classic American car through the city. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight back into London with Virgin Atlantic. Meals Included: Breakfast

Day 13: London

Early arrival back into London.


Casa Particular, Trinidad 

Casas particulares are privately run bed and breakfast-style accommodation ranging from old colonial buildings to rustic and simple local houses that provide a genuine insight into the Cuban way of life. These charming small properties feature homely rooms with en suite facilities, and the continental breakfast is often prepared by the owners. 

Gran Hotel, Camaguey

Dating back to 1939, the Gran Hotel is ideally situated on a pedestrianised street in the heart of Camaguey. Rooms feature tiled floors and dark wooden antique furnishings. Hotel los Caneyes is situated in a quiet location, just a few kilometres from the centre of Santa Clara. Surrounded by eucalyptus, coconut and palm trees, the 96 simple but comfortable rooms with private bathrooms and air conditioning are distributed throughout a number of thatched cottages, designed to resemble the style of an indigenous Taino village

Hotel Los Jazmines, Vinales

Hotel Los Jazmines is located 2km from Viñales and offers simple accommodation and beautiful views over the Viñales valley and tobacco plantations from its hilltop setting. The hotel tour desk can arrange guided walks around the valley and birdwatching tours.

Hotel Rancho San Vicente, Vinales

Hotel Rancho San Vicente is located only 5 km from the village of Viñales and close to the entrance of the Indian Cave. The hotel offers simple air-conditioned rooms in bungalows scattered throughout the gardens. There is a restaurant, bar and a swimming pool.

Hotel Sevilla, Havana

The historic Hotel Sevilla is located just off the Paseo del Prado and is a short walk from both the oceanfront Malecón promenade and the sites of colonial old Havana. Dating from the early 20th century, the Hotel Sevilla was a popular meeting place for Cuban high society and the spacious lobby features live traditional Cuban music.
