Day 1 – Fly to Havana

Fly from London (regional connections available) to Havana via Madrid or Paris. Transfer to the Royalton Habana Paseo del Prado for 2 nights.

Day 2 – Havana

Morning walking tour of Old Havana with a visit to a rum museum. In the afternoon, enjoy a panoramic tour of the city in a classic American car, visiting Revolution Square, and taking a stop at El Floridita.

Day 3 – Las Terrazas

In the morning, drive to Las Terrazas where you’ll stay for the next 2 nights. Visit the local community and a partially restored 19th-century coffee estate.

Day 4 – Viñales

Full day tour of the beautiful Viñales Valley, including its tobacco plantations and limestone hills. You’ll visit a cigar factory and enjoy a boat ride through the Indian Cave.

Day 5 – Peninsula de Zapata – Cienfuegos

Travel to Cienfuegos via the Peninsula de Zapata. Take a boat trip through the mangroves and drive past Playa Girón, site of the 1961 invasion. Arrive in the city of Cienfuegos, where you’ll stay for 1 night.

Day 6 – Cienfuegos – Trinidad

This morning, tour the city and visit its botanical gardens. In the afternoon, travel to Trinidad where you’ll stay in the old town for 3 nights. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a privately run paladar.

Day 7 – Trinidad

Morning walking tour of the town, including the Cantero Museum and the Casa de la Musica. In the afternoon, drive to the valley of the sugar mills, dotted with large former sugar plantations. While here, visit the Manaca Iznaga watchtower.

Day 8 – Trinidad

Day at leisure in Trinidad or take optional excursions.

Day 9 – Camagüey

This morning, drive to Camagüey where you’ll have a short tour and stay overnight.

Day 10 – Biran – Santiago de Cuba

Full-day journey to Santiago de Cuba, visiting Holguin and Castro’s birthplace en route.

Day 11 – Santiago de Cuba

Day 12 – Sancti Spiritus

Full-day journey to Sancti Spiritus for an overnight stay. En route, you’ll visit El Cobre church, Cuba’s most important shrine and Bayamo.

Day 13 – Santa Clara – Havana

Take a short city tour of Sancti Spiritus and continue to historic Santa Clara for a visit and onto Havana for 2 nights.

Day 14 – Havana

Day at leisure to stroll along Old Havana’s cobbled streets or take optional visits to the Bellas Artes Museum, Hemingway’s Museum or the Revolution Museum.

Day 15 – Fly to London

Morning at leisure. Fly to London overnight via Madrid or Paris.

Cayo Santa Maria – 6 days, 5 nights

Spend 3-nights relaxing on a white sandy cay off Cuba’s north coast, before ending with a final night back in Havana.

Day 13 – Santa Clara – Cayo Santa Maria
After visiting Santa Clara, leave the group and continue to Cayo Santa Maria. Stay for 4 nights at the all-inclusive Angsana Cayo Santa Mari.
