Day 1 UK to Perth
After taking Saga's included UK door-to-door travel service to Heathrow, fly to Perth.
Day 2 Perth
Arriving in the afternoon you'll be met from the airport and taken to the Rendezvous Grand Hotel Perth Scarborough for a three-night stay. Enjoy a welcome dinner tonight.
Day 3 Perth
Join an included sightseeing tour of this 'new frontier city', then take a short cruise to Fremantle.
Day 4 Perth
Travel to Nambung National Park to see the amazing pillars of natural limestone formed approximately 25,000 to 30,000 years ago, which rise out of the sand to create a surreal lunar-like landscape. Other highlights of the day include off-road driving, seeing koalas and kangaroos close up, spotting wild flowers (seasonal) and perhaps even strolling along the lovely beaches.
Day 5 Perth to Alice Springs
Fly to Alice Springs. Stay overnight at Doubletree by Hilton. Dinner is included at a local restaurant tonight.
Day 6 Alice Springs-Ayers Rock
Journey through the outback to Uluru (Ayers Rock). Stay overnight at the Desert Gardens Hotel.
Day 7 Ayers Rock to Cairns
Fly to Cairns where you spend four nights at the Pacific Hotel Cairns, situated on the waterfront within walking distance of the city's art galleries and shops.
Day 8 Cairns
At leisure. Or join one of a variety of optional excursions.
Day 9 Great Barrier Reef
Spend the day on the Great Barrier Reef on an included excursion.
