Day 1: UK- Kathmandu
Fly to Kathmandu via Abu Dhabi.
Day 2: Kathmandu
On arrival in Kathmandu, transfer you to your hotel, your base for the next three nights.
Day 3: Kathmandu
You'll head to Boudhanath today to see one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the stupa here dominates the skyline and is truly remarkable.
Day 4: Kathmandu
A day of discovery takes you to Patan, a city boasting dozens of Buddhist and Hindu temples and more than 1,200 monuments.
Day 5: Chitwan
Move on to Chitwan today, where a thrilling highlight will be a canoe ride through the jungle, if weather conditions are in our favour. As you go look out for birds and fish, and if you're really lucky you might even spot a crocodile or a tiger on the shore.
Day 6: Chitwan
Today you'll head into Chitwan National Park. Located in the foothills of the Churia mountain range, it is famed for its variety of wildlife. Notable inhabitants include the great Indian one-horned rhinoceros and the royal Bengal tiger, so keep your fingers crossed for sightings.
Day 7: Pokhara
Arrive in the Pokhara Valley today, a picturesque area which boasts snow-covered peaks, lakes and rivers. Located virtually in the centre of Nepal, it's also perfectly placed for fantastic close-up views of the Himalayas.
Day 8: Pokhara
As a group, head to Naudanda, which means 'nine hills'. From here take in spectacular views over the Annapurna Mountains, a section of the Himalayas.
Day 9: Kathmandu
Fly back to Kathmandu today, and on arrival discover Bhadgaon, also known as Bhaktapur, meaning 'city of devotees'. It is home to many temples and other architectural gems such as the palace of 55 windows built by King Bupatindra Malla, and the Nyatapola Temple. This is the highest temple in Nepal, standing on five terraces.
Day 10: Kathmandu - UK
You have time to see a little more of Kathmandu at your own pace during a morning at leisure. Later we'll transfer you to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
Day 11: UK
Arrive back in the UK today.
Days 2-4: Hotel Himalaya
The 4-star Hotel Himalaya is situated in Kathmandu, boasting a 180 degree panoramic view of the Himalayas. Hotel facilities include a restaurant, bar, tennis court and a swimming pool.
Days 5-6: Jungle Villa Resort
You will stay at the Jungle Villa Resort close to the Chitwan National Park Headquarters and situated by the bank of the Rapti River.
Days 7-8: Waterfront Resort
The Waterfront Resort overlooking the Phewa Lake has incredible lake view from each of its 58 deluxe rooms. Each room with a lake-view balcony is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
