Arrive in Delhi and transfer to the Taj Palace for 2 nights. Late afternoon tour of Old Delhi exploring Chandni Chowk by cycle rickshaw. Welcome dinner at the Haveli Dharampura in Old Delhi.

Morning visit to the President’s Palace for the Changing of the Guard ceremony. Continue on your tour of New Delhi visiting the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun and the Qutb Minar tower. Afternoon at leisure – perhaps explore one of Delhi’s many markets or simply relax at the hotel.

Drive to Agra. In the afternoon, visit the Agra Fort. Stay overnight at the Taj Convention Centre.

Early morning sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. After breakfast, drive to the deserted sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri. Continue to the train station and travel by train to Sawai Madhopur for 2 nights at Dev Vilas. Afternoon at leisure.

Morning and afternoon wildlife viewing. Look out for tigers, sloth bears, marsh crocodiles, wild boar, leopards, deer and an array of prolific birdlife.

This morning take a scenic ride on Deogarh’s metre-gauge train passing waterfalls, lush landscapes and rural life. In the afternoon, there is an option to go on a jeep safari visiting local Bishnoi tribal villages.

Drive to Udaipur, set on the shores of Lake Pichola and arguably Rajasthan’s most picturesque city. Visit the magnificent Jain temples at Ranakpur en route. Stay 2 nights at Fateh Niwas.
