Days 1-2: Fly to Siem Reap
Arrive at the airport by chauffeured transfer and fly overnight to Siem Reap. On arrival, you will be accompanied by one of our experienced escorts to the hotel.
Day 3: Explore Angkor
Spend the day discovering magnificent Angkor. Pass through the South Gateway of Angkor Thom to visit the jungle-wreathed Ta Prohm; the enigmatic Bayon; the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Finally, visit the incredible Angkor Wat.
Day 4: Kampong Kleang
Visit Kampong Kleang floating village on Tonle Sap Lake to catch a glimpse of local life. Continue on to Beng Melea, a temple lost in the jungle. Eat dinner at the fashionable Nest Angkor Restaurant.
Day 5: Travel to Phnom Penh
Fly to Phnom Penh.
Day 6: Phnom Penh
Enjoy an afternoon of sightseeing, including the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the charming Nional Museum. This lunchtime, dine at Bopha Phnom Penh Restaurant.
Day 7: Phnom Penh to Saigon
Visit Tuol Sleng, a former prisoner of war internment and later ascend Wat Phnom for a final view of the city. Fly to Saigon where you'll embark on your culinary adventure through the city's vibrant street food scene.
Day 8: Discover Saigon
Today see the Notre Dame Cathedral, the neoclassical Central Post Office, the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. Enjoy a dinner at Xu Restaurant.
Day 9: Mekong Delta Cruise
Travel to Ben Tre for your Mekong Delta cruise. The delta region produces huge amounts of rice, coconuts, vegetables and tropical fruits. Life here revolves around the river. Take a cycle tour through the verdant fields and meet the local people. Return to Saigon.
Day 10: Cu Chi tunnels
Visit the striking Holy See of Cao Dai - a religion that is native to Vietnam and blends a number of different faiths. Continue to the Cu Chi tunnels, part of a network of excavations used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.
Day 11: Journey to Hoi An
Fly to Danang and transfer to the charming town of Hoi An. Dine on creative Vietnamese cuisine at Ancient Faifo Restaurant.
Day 12: Hoi An at leisure
Enjoy a free day at leisure in Hoi An to soak up the local ambience.
Day 13: Hoi An to Hue
Travel to Hue. Take a cyclo tour of the Imperial Citadel and later cruise on the Perfume River to see the beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda. This evening, dine at the Ancient Hue Restaurant. (B,L,D)
Day 14: Hue
Visit the Ming Mang Tomb and Thanh Tien Village where you will meet the local villages and learn how to make your own ornate paper flower.
Day 15: Hue to Hanoi
Fly to the bustling city of Hanoi and explore the Old Quarter.
Day 16: Hanoi
Take a tour of Hanoi stopping at Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature.
Day 17: Sunrise over Halong Bay
Rise early to see the sun rise over karst-scapes. Continue cruising and enjoy brunch before disembarking. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 18: Halong Bay
Wake up to the beauty of the bay and enjoy breakfast on board the cruise. Today you can enjoy a range of activities like swimming and cave visits.
Day 19: Halong Bay to Hanoi
Spend the morning soaking up the scenery before heading back to the harbour and returning to Hanoi for a farewell dinner.
Day 20: Fly Hanoi to UK
Fly to the UK, arriving home the same or following day.

We have provided time in your itinerary to have the opportunity to experience the facilities of your accommodation, or relax, allowing you to get the most out of the hotel experience.
Coaches: Coaches with air conditioning are used on our group tours for city sightseeing, short excursions to the countryside and longer transfers where necessary. However, mini buses may be used for smaller groups (under 10 passengers).
Most of our groups consist of 10 travellers or more and will be accompanied a National Escort. There will usually be no more than 18 travellers in each group although you may encounter other Wendy Wu tour groups while you are travelling.
