Day 1: Punta Arenas

The adventure officially begins in Punta Arenas, one of the most populated cities in Chilean Patagonia. Meet your fellow adventurers at this evening’s welcome dinner, and enjoy a short expedition briefing at the hotel.

Day 2: Fly the Drake

Today, take a charter flight from Punta Arenas to Antarctica, enabling you to fly above the famous Drake Passage in approximately two hours. Enjoy scenes of the Antarctic landscapes from high above as your plane descends into the South Shetland Islands. Take a guided walk to shore and transfer by Zodiac to the ship, where you’ll meet the rest of the Expedition Team. Here, your Antarctic Peninsula cruise truly begins.

Day 3-6: The Antarctic Peninsula

Spend four unique and unforgettable days exploring the wild beauty of the untamed White Continent. Adventures are interspersed with onboard lectures, bar talks, and wildlife watching. Enjoy daily excursions by Zodiac to penguin-swathed beaches, head out on whale watching expeditions, or hone your photography skills among the glaciers. The captain and crew will offer the activities best suited to the weather and wildlife activity.

Day 7-8: Fly the Drake & Beyond

Bid farewell to the Expedition Team at King George Island, where you’ll disembark and fly 2 hours back across the Drake Passage. Arrive in Punta Arenas, where the evening is at leisure to reminisce with newfound friends, or explore the city independently. The next morning, check out of your hotel and continue with your onward arrangements. Whether you’re heading home or on to Easter Island, your next steps can all be taken care of by Wendy Wu Tours.
