Day 1: UK - In flight

Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight to Durban.

Day 2: Durban - Pennington/Scottburgh

Today we arrive into Durban and travel along the coast to our hotel.

Day 3: Oribi Gorge

After a leisurely morning to explore your tranquil surroundings, enjoy an afternoon tour to the Oribi Gorge.

Day 4: Underberg, Drakensberg Mountains

A beautiful drive takes us inland to the vast World Heritage Site of the southern Drakensberg. On route we have a unique opportunity to experience local life and hear local stories over a home cooked chicken pie on a family-run dairy farm. We arrive in Underberg late afternoon.

Day 5: Sani Pass - Lesotho

We zigzag our way by 4WD up the famously rugged Sani Pass. The tallest mountains in this vast wilderness mark the border of Lesotho and South Africa (your passport is required when we cross the border).

Day 6: Underberg - Isandlwana

Enjoy another scenic drive to Howick Falls. Take a stroll and do a little craft shopping before travelling to Isandlwana.

Day 7: Isandlwana

Today we learn about the battles of Isandlwana, where the Zulus took no prisoners, and Rorke’s Drift. Our expert guide will retell these great emotional encounters as you visit each site.

Day 8: Amakhosi

Our tour leads us on to yet more amazing experiences. Watch for wildlife as we travel, via Umfolozi Game Reserve to the diverse Amakhosi Private Game Reserve in northern KwaZulu-Natal, and set off for our first game drive in search of the Big Five.

Take two game drives today (one early morning) to witness the magic of the African bushveld.

After an early morning game drive, we continue to Mkuze in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. You’ll have time to enjoy the views of legendary Ghost Mountain before dinner. We’ll also be treated to the sights and sounds of energetic Zulu dancers this evening.

The morning is free to relax. This afternoon, we’ll head out by boat onto Lake Jozini.

We transfer to Durban airport for your return flight to the UK.
