Tour Itinerary

Day 1 UK-Cape Town

After taking Saga's included UK door-to-door travel service to the airport, fly overnight to Cape Town.

Day 2 Cape Town

Arrive at Cape Town where you’ll stay for three nights at the Sun Square Cape Town City Bowl Hotel.

Day 3 Cape Town 

Enjoy a full day tour of Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, then stop at Boulders Beach to see the African penguins and visit historic Simons Town.

Day 4 Cape Town

Look forward to a day at leisure when you'll have plenty of time to explore and perhaps take an optional tour of this cosmopolitan city, including a cable-car ride up iconic Table Mountain, weather permitting. 

Day 5 Cape Point-Somerset West

Continue to the town of Somerset West, which is overlooked by the Helderberg Mountains in the heart of the winelands, where you'll spend two nights here at the NH The Lord Charles

Day 6 Stellenbosch

After an included lunch, you’ll have a wine-tasting session at Neetlingshoff and will visit Franschhoek, one of South Africa's oldest towns established by settlers.

Day 7 Somerset West-Albertinia

Depart Somerset West, heading for Oudtshoorn, with lunch on arrival. This afternoon look forward to an included game drive. Stay tonight at the Garden Route Game Lodge which lies against a backdrop of the Langeberg mountains and at the start of the coastal Garden Route.

Day 8 Albertinia-Oudtshoorn

Perhaps join an optional game drive. Depart for Oudtshoorn via Route 62. Stay two nights at Queens Hotel

Day 9 Oudtshoorn

Enjoy a full day included visit to Cango Ostrich Farm and a tour of Cango Caves.

Day 10 Oudtshoorn-Tsitsikamma

Stop for a cruise on Keurbooms River with a picnic lunch, taking in the nature reserve known for its bird life. Continue to Tsitsikamma for two nights at the Tsitsikamma Village Hotel 

Day 11 Tsitsikamma

After an included morning tour to Storms River Mouth and Nature reserve, enjoy lunch followed by an afternoon at leisure.

Day 12 Tsitsikamma-Arniston

Depart for the seaside village of Arniston, stopping en route in Knynsa. Spend the next three nights at The Arniston Spa Hotel.

Day 13 Cape Agulhas and Bredarsdorp

This morning enjoy a full day included tour of Cape Agulhas – the point where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet – and a visit to the Shipwreck Museum in Bredarsdorp.

Day 14 Arniston Bay

Today is at leisure to relax, or explore Arniston and the fishing village.

Day 15 Arniston-Cape Town-UK

Return to Cape Town, along a scenic route as you head to the airport for your return overnight flight.

Day 16 UK

Arrive in the UK for your included door-to-door travel service.
