Day 1: Sydney to Canberra

Start your journey from Sydney, travelling via the beautiful Southern Highlands. Stop en-route to the idyllic, romantic village of Berrima where you'll be transported back to yesteryear. Think stunning, grand Georgian homes, colonial public buildings and the finest restaurants and vineyards in all of Southern Australia. Next stop, Gold Greek Station where you'll gain a fascinating insight into day-to-day life working on a family farm. Get to know your host and enjoy Southern hospitality as they serve you up a traditional Aussie barbecue. End the day with a tour of Canberra. Surrounded by farmland and nature reserves, you'll see why its earned its nickname, the “Bush Capital”. Stay 1 night at Novotel Canberra. Meals Included: Lunch & Dinner. 

Day 2: To Beechworth

Travel to the summit of Mount Ainslie for outstanding panoramic views across Canberra before arriving at Beechworth. Famous for its major growth during the gold rush days of the mid-1850's, this well-preserved mining town is steeped in history to unearth. Meals Included: Breakfast. 

Day 3: To Melbourne 

Travel through Glenrowan and Ned Kelly country to Australia's cultural capital, Melbourne. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city, exploring its abundance of trendy art galleries, boutique shops, theatres and iconic hidden laneways. Stay 2 nights at Crowne Plaza Hotel Melbourne. Meals Included: Breakfast. 

Day 4: Melbourne

Choose from a variety of activities; including a visit to Eureka Sykdeck which boasts awe-inspiring views across the southern hemisphere or join a Hunt & Gather food tour to sample the mouth-watering delights of the largest open-air market in all of South Australia. Meals Included: Breakfast. 

Day 5 To Warrnambool on the Great Ocean Road

Witness the majestic splendour of the famous Twelve Apostles, a series of limestone formations that stand tall above Victoria's dramatic coastline. Visit the seaside town of Lorne and Apollo Bay. Known as “paradise by the sea”, enjoy the town's stunning beaches and lush green pastures. Stay for 1 night at Quality Suites Deep Blue Hotel & Spa. Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner. 

Day 6 To Naracoorte

This morning visit Worn Gundidj for a unique eco-tourism experience on the Great Ocean Road! Sitting in the crater of a dormant volcano, this reserve has a plethora of flora, striking landscapes and wildlife to encounter. Continue on to the crystal blue waters of Mount Gambier Lake and then enjoy a spot of wine tasting at Brand's Laira Vineyard. For some much-needed rest and recuperation, spend the night at William MacIntosh Motor Lodge. Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner. 

Day 7: To Kangaroo Island 

Journey to the beautiful seaside town of Victor Harbour. Located on the Fleurieu Peninsula, this town retains its nostalgic charm with a horse-drawn tram taking you along the picturesque oceanfront and rugged coastline. In the afternoon hop aboard the ferry to Kangaroo Island, Australia's third largest islands and one of the country's top natural wonders. With more than a third of the island dedicated to national parks, the island is a sanctuary for wildlife, so make you have your camera at the ready to snap the native wallabies, koalas, sea lions and of course kangaroos! On the island, you'll also pay a visit to South Australia's only boutique distillery to try the award-winning Australian gin. Stay for 2 nights at Aurora Ozone Hotel. Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner. 

Day 8: Kangaroo Island

Spend the day continuing to explore the pristine beaches, dramatic cliffs and native bushland of the island. Visit the Remarkable Rocks and Admiral's Arch, a naturally formed rugged rock bridge that towers above the ocean. After a busy day exploring, relax and tuck into the Island's prized freshwater crayfish at Andermel Marron Farm. Finish with a guided walk among a colony of friendly sea lions. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.  

Day 9: To Adelaide 

Travel back to the mainland by ferry for a glorious taste of Germany set within the beautiful Adelaide Hills. The quaint town of Hahndorf is Australia's oldest surviving German settlement and one of Southern Australia's most popular towns, famed for its hospitality and old-world charm. Next, continue on to the cosmopolitan coastal city of Adelaide for a tour of this city and its 1,700 acres of beautiful parkland. Meals Included: Breakfast. 

Day 10: Barossa Valley

Next stop, a wine connoisseurs' dream! Discover Barossa Valley, one of Australia's oldest and greatest wine regions and home to over 150 wineries including the well-known Jacob's Greek winery. Stretching endlessly across miles of lush greenery, explore the Barossa ranges and vineyards, sampling the delicious award-winning wines and fresh gourmet food. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.  

Day 11: Onward travel:

Transfer to the airport for your flight home or continue your holiday. Meals Included: Breakfast.
