In the north-east of China, Jilin province is renowned for the fairytale beauty of "rime ice" crystals, and for its great snow cover and long winter sports season.
The Beidahu ski domain has runs to suit all members of the family. Beidahu boasts the highest operating vertical in the country with a drop of over 800m. The 13 pistes, which reach up to 1,357m are perfect for beginners and intermediates. There is also a terrain park and 10,000m of cross-country trails, as well as a range of family-friendly activities.

Club Med Beidahu is a state of the art resort with a resort mobile chat which connects guests directly to customer services, in resort Apple pay and digital navigation screens that are situated around the resort and offer information and directions.  and it boasts 176 rooms, including 11 standard club rooms, 154 deluxe rooms and eight premium suites, two family suites, and one presidential suite.
The resort has three restaurants and bars, a fitness room, a spa and a hot tub. After a day on the pistes, you can warm up with some inside activities such as archery, darts, table football, table tennis and air hockey. In the evening you can enjoy live entertainment and dance floor for live music.  

 In China, the official language is Mandarin and Cantonese but the Club Med resort has G.O's that also speak English and some staff come from all over the world to work at this resort. The official currency is the Yuan but with everything included in your stay, you can save your spending money for nights out in the local towns such as Yanbian, Changchun and Jilin. whilst you are in China you can explore these regions on excursions, Jilin is beautiful in winter or summer with thick forests and scenic mountains, Yanbian offers a taste of the "Chinese Korea", and is situated in the Changbai Mountain Range, where a dormant volcano and a national nature reserve can be found. Changchun is a picturesque town in the middle of Songliao Plain.

How does the ski tuition work?

You will receive 5 days of free ski tuition by an instructor. You can learn to ski from age 4. There are special ski tuition groups depending on the age of your child. Children's helmet rental is free. 
For snowboarding, you will receive 4 free days of tuition. Children can learn to snowboard from ages 8. Private tuition and ski rentals are at extra cost. 

What non-ski activities are there in the resort?

If you don't want to ski then you can take part in the;

Fitness School, there are group lessons 6 days a week. Age Starting from 16 years.

Nordic Walking, a dynamic walking technique from Finland which uses the full-body walking using walking poles and the natural swing of the arms. Subject to weather conditions. Age Starting from 12 years.

The Weights and cardio-training room, Use the equipment available to work up a sweat. Age Starting from 18 years

Yoga School, discover a range of moves that improve your flexibility, breathing, and relaxation.

Advance arrangements are not necessary for guests with common / frequent lifestyle dietary requests. Guests can discuss their dietary requests with the local Head Chefs upon arrival.

 Club Med’s policy regarding food allergies is for Guests to ask to speak with a Head Chef or a Restaurant Manager upon arrival to our Resorts to discuss the food allergy or intolerance. Although the Head Chef can walk through the buffet and indicate what can be eaten based on the specific allergy or intolerance, there is always the potential for cross-contact by other Guests since these are self-serve buffets.

How do I get to the resort and what is the transfer time?

 You can fly to Longjia airport where you will be met by a Club Med representative and driven to the Club Med Beidahu. The transfer time is approximately 120 minutes.
