Leading Touring and Adventure Specialist, Travel Club Elite gain national recognition in the travel industry’s fastest growing sector with “Best Online Travel Agent” Award
A Birmingham travel business has seen off tough national competition to be voted Best On-line Travel Agency at a prestigious event at Birmingham’s ICC held on October 22nd by ATAS, the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers.
Travel Club Elite, based near the Mailbox, were announced as winners in their category by radio and TV personality Aled Jones. The second ATAS Conference, once again held in Birmingham, concluded with a gala dinner and awards ceremony.
Travel Club Elite staff were left ‘walking in the air’ after Monday’s announcement. Sales Manager Zoe Franklin said, ‘We’re definitely one of Birmingham’s hidden gems, leading the field in TrustPilot rankings for many travel sectors. Ironically, most of our customers are affluent and savvy travellers from the South East. We’re hoping this award will bring Travel Club Elite to the attention of Midlands travellers too!’.
Travel Club Elite was established over 33 years ago and specialises in family activity holidays, ski trips and escorted tours to all corners of the globe. This keenly contested award is a recognition of their innovative online activity, consistently high standards of customer service and dedication to this this rapidly-growing travel sector.
ATAS was formed just 18 months ago and brings together the leading suppliers in touring and adventure holidays, with a united goal of improving awareness and sales through the UK travel industry and to act as a united voice for its 28 members.
