The number one designer ski destination, this Three Valleys resort retains its premier position as the most stylish place to ski in France. With access to over 600km of perfect pistes shared with the Meribel and Val Thorens valleys, Courchevel 1850 is ideal for holidaying skiers of all standards. This ski resort has it all.
After skiing out on the easy, perfectly groomed pistes that run through the centre of the resort, leisurely skiers can potter across to 1650 and enjoy lunch in style and sunshine. Stronger and more adventurous skiers may head for the infamous couloirs at the top of the Saulire cable car or the powder fields of Mont Vallon. In bad weather, there's sheltered skiing in the forest above La Tania and Le Praz. Many will want to try the end to end tour to the Maurenne valley (beyond Val Thorens) and back, which, with the new efficient lift system, is perfectly possible in a day without rushing.
Courchevel 1850 Restaurants & Bars: Bars, restaurants and nightclubs for every pocket mean that nobody ever gets bored in Courchevel. Some are inevitably expensive and others surprisingly good value, but all have a fantastic reputation and atmosphere.
Non-Ski Activities: True, the skiing is fantastic, but there are plenty of other activities on offer too. Ice skating, bowling, squash, snow-shoeing, tobogganing, parascending... to name just a few.
Operated by Neilson Ski: Hotel New Solarium (1850), Hotel Seizena (1650), Neilson Chalet Montagnettes (1650), Hotel Des Neiges (1850)
