Club Med Cherating Beach Resort:
Cherating Beach seems to be perched on the east coast of Malaysia like a tropical Garden of Eden by a jade-coloured sea.

The pace of life in this 80-hectare Resort, complete with bungalows on stilts nestling amid lush vegetation, is set by the comings and goings of the macaque monkeys, gibbons, monitor lizards, rare birds and multicoloured butterflies.
Enjoy an excursion* in a dugout canoe, a relaxing session at the Club Med Spa* or a cocktail at the magnificent bar.

Club Med Cherating Beach Accommodation:
On the coast of Malaysia, 60 kms (37 miles) from Kuantan, looking out over the South China Sea, welcome to a new Eden steeped in luxury, refinement and exoticism. The 297 rooms are divided between 15 three-storey buildings. Built in the local style, on stilts, with access via a stairway, all the buildings are made of teak.

Our Resort welcomes children of all ages, with children’s club facilities for the various age groups, run by professionals.

NEW This Resort has children's club facilities (Petit Club Med®* and Mini Club Med®*) inspired by nature, to demonstrate the pleasures of living in harmony with nature, and satisfy the children's natural curiosity. A fun and educational trail takes children (aged 2 to under 11) to meet the plants and trees of the jungle, and the local animals (monkies, toucans, sea turtles, and more).

Petit Club Med® (from 2 to under 4)
Optional Extra*At this age, they're no longer babies, but they still need close supervision

It's the age of first discoveries, so the Petit Club Med proposes early learning activities, walks and outdoor games; a well-balanced lunch devised specially for the needs of growing children followed by a nap or quiet time, creative activities, and of course tea time, always a favourite moment of the day!

The activities follow the children's progress, divided into age groups. From 7.30 pm, after dinner with their parents, they go back to the Petit Club Med®. While parents enjoy a quiet dinner, the children can enjoy their own evening with their friends.

For information:

•The adult accompanying the child must be able to show that he or she meets the minimum vaccination requirements for children (child health record or medical certificate).
•Nappies and baby milk are not provided by Petit Club Med®.

Mini Club Med® (from 4 to under 11)

At this age, children have a thirst for everything.

The Mini Club Med®’s vocation is to satisfy their boundless energy and curiosity. Activities include sport, games and creative activities. Children are divided into age groups.

Club Med Passworld® (from 11 to under 18)
Included in your packageThere are no obligations at the Club Med Passworld®, a spirit teenagers adore. The exclusive Passworld in this Resort is on the ground floor, facing the South China Sea.

In this Resort the Passworld area is called "I Fungi". A humid zone where mutant mushrooms hang from the ceiling like lanterns, each one a world in itself.

This Baby Zone, in the Resort's general buffet restaurant, has sweet and savoury baby foods and all the equipment necessary for preparing your baby's meals.
