The Resort is built on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the valley with a 360° view of surrounding mountains. Situated in the heart of the Grand Massif domain, the resort is not far from Geneva-Cointrin airport, making it popular for families looking to avoid longer transfer times. As a ski-in/ski -out resort direct access to the slopes. Guests will benefit from a lift pass which covers two domains – Massif and Flaine (5 stations: Samoëns, Morillon, Les Carroz and Flaine and a natural ski park in Sixt Fer a Cheval).

Massif slopes are ideal for beginners, while Flaine slopes are better suited for intermediate and expert skiers. The all-inclusive 4-Trident Club Med Grand Massif Samoëns Morillon Resort is outside the main village at 700m, with a shuttle service available. Guests can take a shuttle when the Grand Massif Express gondola is not in operation; every 30 minutes in the evening until at least 11pm from the Resort at 1600m. During the day, guests can use the Grand Massif Express gondola and a shuttle will run from the bottom of the gondola to the main village and back again. Samoëns is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful towns in France.

You can also visit the snow sure resort of Flaine by a new lift, the Grand Massif Express, which links to Samoëns 1600. Samoëns has a traffic free centre and is a traditional town with local delicacies such as mountain hams, local cheeses, and delicious pastries.
