This 5-night safari visits a contrasting trio of parks, the Aberdares, Lake Naivasha and finally three nights in the world-famous Masai Mara. Witness incredible wildlife including; elephants, lions, cheetahs, Grevy’s zebras, giraffes, gerenuks, buffaloes, oryx, gazelles, dik diks and waterbucks. The river forest attracts a wide variety of birds.

Day 1 Thursday – Aberdares

On arrival at the Somak Safari Lounge, you can freshen up and store any additional luggage before departing for the Aberdares (180 km). Arrive in time for lunch at the Aberdare Country Club. After lunch continue to Ark Lodge. The afternoon is at leisure as you relax on the deck overlooking the waterhole.

Day 2 Friday – Lake Naivasha

Drive to Lake Naivasha (220 kms) one of the Great Rift Valley Lakes, where over 450 species of birds have been recorded. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon enjoy a boat ride on the Lake.

Day 3 Saturday – Masai Mara

Drive to the magnificent Masai Mara (270 km), home to countless animal species including the ‘big five’ and a multitude of plains game. Lunch at your lodge followed by an afternoon game drive.

Days 4 & 5 Sunday & Monday – Masai Mara

Two full days in the magnificent Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. An early morning balloon safari over the Mara followed by a ‘bubbly’ bush breakfast can be done in place of one of the morning game drive (optional extra charge). The rest of the time is at leisure to relax.

Day 6 Tuesday – Depart

After breakfast drive to Nairobi (335 km – approximately 5 hours), or fly from the Masai Mara to Nairobi – morning flight or lunch in the Masai Mara and afternoon flight (optional extra – price on request).

Ark Lodge

This well-known lodge, built to resemble Noah’s Ark, enjoys a picturesque setting in the mountain forest of the Central Highlands.
The Ark comprises three decks, where numerous balconies and lounges afford excellent views of the floodlit waterhole and salt lick, whilst a ground-level bunker provides superb photographic opportunites.

Offers a dining room, lounge and bar. Leisure facilities include game drives, catwalk, numerous balconies and game viewing areas.

Lake Naivasha Country Club

The hotel offers a wonderful mix of tranquillity in serene surroundings, and a varied number of sporting activities for both the energetic and the more laid back.
Lake Naivasha is the focus of activity, but the abundant bird life and several activities in the area mean there is never a shortage of things to do.

Mara Leisure Camp

The Mara Leisure Camp is situated along the banks of the Talek River, in one of Kenya’s premier wildlife areas.

You are assured a unique safari adventure, with daily game drives accompanied by experienced local Masai guides, as well as educational outings and visits to community development projects within the Talek area.

Enjoy romantic evenings watching the splendid Kenyan sunset over the plains, or sip a sundowner beside the cozy fireplace. Listen to the enchanting sounds of nightfall in the African wilderness whilst enjoying the star-studded skies above.

The charming restaurant serves delicious cuisine from either the buffet or the set menu, depending on the number of guests. The chef is always available to cater for any dietary requirements. The cellar stocks a collection of wines. For a back to nature experience, a bush setting can be arranged for breakfast and dinner. You can enjoy a drink in the bar which overlooks the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool with kiddies’ area, a curio shop and an outdoor camp fire.
